Dr Tim Ewer

Tim Ewer has been working in integrative medicine for the last 18 years and has a health centre near Nelson. Prior to that he was a hospital physician for 10 years and while working at the Princess Margaret hospital he helped to run the Christchurch hyperbaric oxygen chamber for 7 years and co-authored 2 papers relating to hyperbaric use in carbon monoxide and cyanide poisoning.
He undertook a diploma in 2003 in occupational medicine at the University of Auckland, which included a dissertation on the use of hyperbaric therapy in infectious diseases. He has attended and passed the NZ navy hyperbaric unit diving medicine course and the hyperbaric medicine course at the Prince of Wales hospital in Sydney. He also has a Master of Science degree involving a research thesis on environmental medicine.
