Dr Paul Robinson

MSc (Hons), MBChB, FRANZCOG

Paul grew up on a farm in Cambridge. His career spans biomedical research with Waikato, Auckland and UCLA Universities, as well as clinical medicine, obstetrics, and gynaecology in Auckland and Tauranga Hospitals. He received the New Zealand Young Gynaecologist of the Year award while at Middlemore Hospital.

As well as obstetrics, Paul's special interests include infertility and recurrent miscarriage, prolapse and continence repair, colposcopy and laparoscopic surgery. When not at Origins, Paul is based at Auckland Hospital where he has an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist position. Paul balances his work life with cycling, as well as spending time with his wife and their three children who range from preschooler to teenaged.
