Mr Rowan French

MBChB, FRACS, RACS

Rowan French is a General, Breast, Endocrine and Obesity Surgeon who has recently joined the team at Waikato Surgery. His primary interests include the treatment of breast disease and breast cancer, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, gastrointestinal endoscopy and the surgical management of obesity. He has trained extensively in these areas around New Zealand, and has recently returned to Hamilton after working for 2 years in the Lakes region. His other interests include surgical nutrition including intravenous nutrition, and he is a founding member of the Waikato Hospital advanced nutritional support team. Rowan is married to Cheryl, and has two very active boys under 5, which means he doesn't always get to spend as much time on his mountain bike as he would like!
