Dentistry has become such a high-tech multi faceted industry that our team of dentists prefer to become masters in special fields of interest, rather than attempt to embrace all areas of dentistry.Patient care is deliveredby a team of dentists withspecific expertise in their area of professional development.

Dr Mark Taylor is responsible for General dentistry, including emergency and twilight sleep dentistry.

Mark started practising in Auckland in 1996 when he established four Accident and Medical dental clinics, three on the North Shore and one at Ascot Hospital, providing a wide range of general dentistry, after hours and emergency dental care.

Mark found there were a large number of his clientele that simply preferred the convenience of appointments outside of work hours. We continue to offer this service to our guests with Mark offering late evening appointments four nights per week.

As a General dentist, Mark has always strived to achieve excellence in his work and stay at the forefront of the technical advancements available in dentistry. He regularly attends lectures and courses from minimal intervention dentistry to sophisticated procedures and has developed a special interest in endodontics (root canal therapy ) and oral surgery.

Mark has been a member of the Society for Anaesthesia and Sedation in Dentistry since 1996. By combining these fields in dentistry Mark is able to help our guests past some of their phobias of dental treatment. We call this Twilight Dentistry.

Mark comes from a farming background in the Central Hawkes Bay and brings warmth, empathy and clear communication skills to the team.
